I love you because I love the "me" when I'm with you!

On May 24, will be our 5th Wedding Anniversary. Through the years, it has been a learning process. I truly believe that LOVE is what keep us together. No matter what dark clouds that comes our way, we know, that tomorrow is a brighter day. In a relationship, one should stand firm when the other is down. Always be there for each other.

Love is work, lots of work. It is a job of two people in a relationship. There is no in between, nobody is the boss, we are partners, we are one! When a storm is coming, be prepared and cling to one another. When life is to your advantage, celebrate and rejoice.

Five years ago, I remembered during our pre-marital councelling meeting, the Pastor that officiated our wedding once told us to put GOD first in our relationship. The spiritual value plays a major role in every marriage. I believe when a family that PRAYS together, STAYS forever. Second is Money. He told us to never argue about money. It is one of the evil root of every broken families in the world because you are easily get blinded by it, whether you have lots or less money, it doesnt matter. Lastly, sexual relationship should not be taken for granted. Its not just about physical but the emotional aspect of it. Be affectionate and sensual. Be creative and giving. Romance each other, spend time together, and dont forget to go out on a date at least once a week. Date is not just about the bedroom. Go out, go watch a movie, stroll in the park, arrange a candle dinner in your basement, or anything that is so special.

It is very important to communicate. Dont be afraid to tell what you feel inside, tell your likes and dislikes with each other and learn from it. Your own flaws will help build a stronger relationship.

Some says, Love is sacrifice. I completely disagree. Love is an understanding and accepting. What is love when deep inside you is sacrificing and hurting. Supposedly, love is happiness. Be happy and content with what you have. Trully, you can never change a person, and don't try to change that person because true love conquers everything. If you want to mold somebody into someone you want him to be, then, he's not the one for you. True love understand each others feelings and compensate each others needs. Surrender yourself and don't expect something in return. Love finds its own way. When you're hurting, love heals itself. When you love, you are loved.

Let me share you my favorite Bible verse and our Wedding scriptural reading:

"Love is patient, love is kind, never jealous, boastful proud or rude. love is not selfish or quick tempered. love doesnt keep a record of wrongs that others do. Love rejoices in the truth but not in evil. Love is always supportive, loyal, and trusting. Love bears all things, endures all things. love never fails. So faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is LOVE." Corinthians 13:4-8,13

to be continued....:)

Just me

I am a happy person. You will rarely see me sad, I always smile and laugh....sometimes I caught myself laughing for no reason...scary, huh! Even if someone just died, you'll probably still see me smiling...I don't know but it’s just the way I am. Sometimes, I get so irritated for being like that....I don’t want people to think that I’m a geek...huh! Maybe I am! haha...Truly, I don’t do it on purpose, it just comes out naturally.

I have high hopes to do something different. But TIME is my biggest hindrance for now. I am hoping I will be able to achieve my goals before I turn 30.

I thought Photography was classy. I got a nice Canon EOS digital camera and played that for a month. Haha. I want to learn that perfect shot and the tricks of the new digital world of Adobe Photoshop. I’ve read about it and thought its kind of fun....would like to learn.

I wanted to learn Pottery. My love of pottery started when my parents and I watched the movie "Ghost" by Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore. It was our first time as a family to watch a movie in a theater together. I didn’t think how special it was at that time, but now Ive come to realized how memorable that was. But anyway, In the movie when Demi was spinning something to make pottery(dunno the terms of pottery, haha) and Patrick came then they kissed...promise its not about the kiss....its just fun to watch that thing spinning...haha...Anyways, Charles took me to some Pottery museum and store in Wisconsin and Michigan...and I love it! I’m hoping to find a school near our place, I’m not enrolling soon but it’s in my plan to do before I turn 30...huh! Better hurry up then....haha.

I was once ambitious playing golf. But I've never been to any golf course. And yeah, it’s just right the corner from us. When I was in College, I thought Golf is not considered a sport, yeah, you can get an injury from playing golf and it was under Sports Injury...huh! But still, I’m not impressed about it...I thought it’s only for the rich and famous! Then.....when I came here in the states and work as a Physical therapist, one of my patient's goals after an illness, is to go back to its prior functional level including his favorite daily routine of playing golf!!! toinksz....so, I prepared myself, went online and did some research about it...we got him a portable miniature potting green and started giving him strengthening and dynamic balance exercise specifically for golf....and of course, my patient ended up training me to how to play golf...hahaha! We played and played everyday...and whoa...he’s kinda strict, too! I remembered him saying, as soon as you swing and hit that ball, don't move, don’t even breath, keep your eyes to that ball and follow it 'till it gets into the hole, because if you move you are changing the direction of the wind...hehe, a nice trick ha!

I’ve always like to cook and I have a good collection of cookbooks "till we had a kitchen fire last year and ruined my all of them, too much for being a chef, ha? hehe...Charles got me a Rachael Rays knife for a Christmas Gift because he knows how I adore her so much...and every time I cook using the knife, I feel like RR is within me...haha....:) Here's my other plan, I will enroll Culinary Arts to become a professional chef hopefully within 5 years. And oh yes! I want to have my own Restaurant...someday!

Traveling. Yes, I love to travel...Did I say, Traveling? haha....I want to see the world! I got this passion from my Dad. He is a Captain Mariner and has been traveling all over the world! 3 years ago, their ship went to Port Cartier (Quebec,CA)....wow! Its amazing, Charles and I drove 24 hrs one way to meet him. We got to see his ship and pampered with good food. Its crazy that we we're almost at the tip of Saint Lawrence Seaway (10 hrs drive NE of Quebec City). Its way way up there...imagine, it was in January and the temperature was -35 deg. F....Brrrr Cold!!! It’s beautiful up there! ....My travels include all Eastern Part of USA, Michigan State. The Western part of USA is the next in line. We plan to hit Brazil and Italy soon....We've been to Japan Airport...haha but we want to explore the country side of it...We also want to go to China....hehe....:) And just anywhere and everywhere! We both love to drive and get lost in the middle of nowhere....haha, its fun! Charles is always the driver and I’m the navigator, and I’m pretty good at it...I have the entire 50 states map, USA, and the world! I love maps! Whew! Too much about it, I’m exhausted already! haha...too much traveling!

Then, gardening is what we enjoy the most, we like to compare each other's plants from seed to fruit. We are so excited with our new 20x20 garden bed. I can’t wait for our fresh produce this year.

Most of all, I am actually a homebody....I used to take 1 week off from work just to stay home and have the whole week just for myself....I’m a loner...and yet a dreamer...:)

When you dream....dream big and high as you can! It's free!
